An “Eligible Consumer Certificate” is required to be qualifier to choose an electricity supplier. In order to become an Eligible Consumer, the total annual amount electricity consumption for any consumer must be higher than the “Eligible Consumer Limit” published January every year by the Energy Market Regulatory Board (EPDK). The limit, which has been decreased every year since its was first published, is now 1.400 kWh for 2020,equivalent to an electricity monthly bill of 69.00 Turkish Lira in average.
